Uprising

Oh WoW!! I love where this story is going!! I cannot wait for book 3!!

The big question faced in this story is in defining good and evil. Angels must choose God over all else, period. Doing otherwise and said angel would be deemed evil, wings stripped, become fallen. The Council is of one voice. All-seeing. All-knowing. Judge and jury. Who wrote this rule book? If you do something out of the goodness of your heart but someone higher up thinks you shouldn’t have, does that make you evil? Should a person be punished for breaking rules he knew nothing about? Sins of the father…

Ember is a ball of fire!! The life she has always known soon comes to a screeching halt. Her world is completely turned up-side-down. Nobody wants to answer her questions. No explanations are given. However, with a little help from a new friend, luckily, she becomes a fast learner. With what she soon faces, it’s a very good thing.

Liam is still trying to adjust to his new life as First Guardian while overcoming the loss of his true love, as well as his humanity. He is a mess. He and the rest of the Guardians know the Fallen are searching for a secret weapon, but nobody seems to know what it is, where it is, or how to obtain it.

Atlas is a hottie with tons of baggage. He is a sweet, kind, caring, and romantic Demon. How is this possible? If I said anything else the surprise would be ruined. However, some of his backstory is revealed towards the middle of the book.

There isn’t much more I can say without spoiling the story. I can’t even say who is leading the “uprising.” I will say I’m on their team, though. The end is a perfect lead-in for the next part of the story. LOVE IT!!
